ARC Raiders: "Why Snaphook Out of Safe Pocket Like That?" Snaphook and Safe Pocket Explained

Twitch chat asked "Why snaphook out of safe pocket like that?" Here's what Embark's patch notes say about the Snaphook and safe pockets. Movement tech comes from creators and is marked [Community]. MetaPatchAI didn't test anything.

Steps / what's official

  1. You can't move the Snaphook into a safe pocket while it's in use. Patch 1.18.0 (March 3, 2026): "Fixed an issue that allowed players to put the Snaphook into a safe pocket while in use."
  2. Weapons need the Safekeeper Augment to go in a safe pocket. Same patch: "Fixed an exploit that allowed players to put weapons in a safe pocket without the Safekeeper Augment."
  3. A second Snaphook loophole was closed in 1.19.0. Patch 1.19.0 (March 10, 2026): "Fixed an issue where pressing Tab while using the Snaphook would allow players to put it in the safe pocket." https://arcraiders.com/news/patch-notes-1-19-0
