Dead by Daylight 10.3.0 PTB: Art the Clown Brings a Bag of Toys, Plus a New Mall Map and Gore Settings
Source: Behaviour Interactive

Oct 30, 2026: Art the Clown has reached the Fog, at least on the test server. Behaviour Interactive posted the 10.3.0 Terrifier PTB patch notes on Oct 28, 2026 (11:03 AM ET), and the Public Test Build is live on Steam. It adds The Terrifier as a Killer, Sienna Shaw as a Survivor, a new Hartshorne Mall map, gore customization options, and a reworked Mori system. The official chapter page lists a full release date of Nov 24, 2026.
The Terrifier's power: Bag of Toys
- Hold Ability to pick one of two random Toys; the bag then goes on cooldown. Toys are single-use, damage healthy Survivors, and put injured ones under Torture.
- The five Toys:
- Acid Bottle: throw it at Survivors or make Acid Puddles.
- Flail: a sweeping attack that can hit over certain obstacles.
- Handgun: fires a bullet.
- Flamethrower: a stream of fire that can set Pallets, Windows and Generators alight.
- Bike Horn: reveals Survivors with Killer Instinct, applies Oblivious, and resets active Torture timers.
- The combo: Torture an injured Survivor with one Toy, then hit them with a different Toy to down them and inflict Terrified.
- Taunt: taunting a hooked or downed Terrified Survivor gives +1 Deadliness to all Toys.
- Deadliness: Toys gain a point each time they apply Torture. At max, a Toy can down injured Survivors outright, and the Bike Horn interrupts repairs and heals and instantly regresses progress.
Behaviour's "Everything to Know" post adds that each weapon gets its own Mini-Mori.
New perks
The Terrifier (Killer): - Laughingstock: Survivors within 12 m of a completed Generator become Exhausted and Oblivious, lingering 3/4/5 s after they leave. You see completed Generators' auras. - Kill Spree: once every remaining Survivor has 2 Hook States and all Generators are done, you can kill Survivors (Exit Gate switches are blocked while you do). - Funny Business: damaging a Generator gives 10% Haste for 10 s plus a random effect, from a 30 s Generator block to a 2 s stun on yourself to "Confetti! But nothing happens."
Sienna Shaw (Survivor): - Valkyrie's Rage: after being chased for 40/35/30 s, your next pallet stun lasts 75% longer. - Shared Trauma: taking a protection hit lets Survivors within 12 m recover from Exhausted while running for 30/35/40 s. - Best Gift Ever: start with 4/5/6 Tokens; the first time you drop each item type, it's consumed and grants a passive buff (e.g. Flashlight: Killer stuns also blind for 2 s).
New map: Hartshorne Mall
The PTB adds a new realm, The Subdivisions, with the Hartshorne Mall map. The official lore ties it to Dwight's childhood.
Gore customization and the Mori overhaul
- Gore settings (Settings > Gameplay): toggle reduced-gore Death Sequences, switch blood to a neutral green, or use Regional Streamer Mode, which applies both and anonymizes all player info.
- Three Mori categories (Finisher, Power, and Offering/Perk Mori), with one "Kill" prompt at a time on the Attack input. The Terrifier is first; Behaviour says it will roll out to older Killers over time.
Perk tuning from 10.2.0
Behaviour is also re-tuning perks it changed last update. Highlights: Dark Sense gets a token system (up to 5), Calm Spirit's speed bonus jumps to 23/24/25% (was 8/9/10%), and Ravenous's Exposed duration drops to 60/65/70 s (was 80/85/90 s). Slippery Meat, Dark Arrogance and Whispers also change; see the notes for exact numbers.
What's confirmed / not confirmed
Confirmed (Behaviour, official): every mechanic, perk number, map and setting above is from the 10.3.0 PTB notes (Oct 28, 2026). The Nov 24, 2026 release date is on the official chapter page and the Steam DLC page. The Mini-Mori detail is from Behaviour's Oct 28 "Everything to Know" post.
Not confirmed: - PTB numbers can change before Nov 24. Treat all values as test values. - The Bike Horn's Oblivious duration. The notes literally say "X seconds." - PTB end date and the DLC price. Steam shows no price yet. - Any non-Steam PTB (the announcement mentions Steam only). - Behaviour's known issues list says Terrifier Mori animations and VFX are still being polished.
We haven't played the PTB; this summarizes the official notes.
