Elden Ring "No One Online?" Co-op and PvP Matchmaking Tips ("lookn for co-op!")
Steam players are posting "No one online?" and "lookn for co-op!" This guide uses Bandai Namco's official multiplayer guide and the FromSoftware FAQ. MetaPatchAI didn't test anything.

Steps
- Use a Furlcalling Finger Remedy to see other players' signs. Helpers place golden signs with a Tarnished Furled Finger. You both need to be in about the same area, for example near the same Site of Lost Grace. (Bandai Namco)
- Use summoning pools. Small stone crucifixes near bosses are summoning pools. Activate one and use a Small Golden Effigy to send your sign to pools near and far. (Bandai Namco; FromSoftware FAQ)
- Play with friends using a password. With the same case-sensitive password, you'll only see signs from players who use it. It does not stop invasions. (Bandai Namco)
- Use a Group Password to prioritize players from your group as guests or invaders. (Bandai Namco)
- Check your platform. There's no cross-play between platform families. PS4 and PS5 can play together, Xbox One and Series X|S can play together, and Steam only plays with Steam. (FromSoftware FAQ)
- For PvP, use a Bloody Finger or Small Red Effigy to invade, or a Duelist's Furled Finger for duels. (Bandai Namco)
Limits to know
- Up to 2 cooperative guests, and 4 players per session. Hosting disables Torrent and fast travel. Guests get half their flasks, rounded down. (Bandai Namco)
Seamless Co-op mod (unofficial)
- [Community / unofficial mod] Seamless Co-op by LukeYui: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/510 (mirror: https://github.com/LukeYui/EldenRingSeamlessCoopRelease). The Nexus permissions don't allow modifying or redistributing it without the author's permission. It isn't supported by FromSoftware or Bandai Namco. Show the license and point readers to the author's page.
- Version: Nexus v2.0.2 (updated Oct 27, 2026) is compatible with game version 1.17, the current patch (released Aug 27, 2026). The GitHub mirror's newest release is v2.0.1, so 2.0.2 is on Nexus only. Everyone in your party must run the same mod version and the same game version.
