No Man's Sky FORSAKEN (Update 7.10) Is Out: Haunted Corvettes, Space Courier Jobs, Seamless Warping and an iPhone Launch

Oct 30, 2026: Hello Games has gone spooky for Halloween. FORSAKEN, update 7.10 for No Man's Sky, landed on Wednesday, Oct. 28. It adds haunted mementos to scavenge, mysterious traders who swap them for biomechanical corvette parts, delivery missions, and a long-requested way to fly straight to nearby stars without opening the Galaxy Map. The same update brings the full game to iPhone and iPad.

Hello Games announced it in posts on Steam and Xbox Wire signed "Sean." The official FORSAKEN page at nomanssky.com has the full 7.10 patch notes.

The short version

  • What: free update 7.10, "FORSAKEN"
  • Released: Oct. 28, 2026 (Steam and Xbox Wire posts)
  • Headline content: forsaken traders, haunting mementos, sinister corvette modules, space courier missions, seamless warping, a minimal HUD mode and a radial weapon selector
  • New platform: iOS. The Steam post says iPhone 11 and later, and 3rd-generation iPad Air and later, can try the first part of the game for free.
  • Count: Hello Games calls FORSAKEN the studio's fifth major update this year, after REMNANT, XENO ARENA, THE SWARM and COSMOS.

Forsaken traders and haunting mementos

According to the official patch notes, "haunting mementos" now appear at infested outposts, deep-space hulks, derelict freighters and planetary digsites. Collecting them takes nerve: the notes warn that "prolonged exposure will attract the attention of hostile boundary horrors."

Bring those mementos to forsaken traders, who can be summoned at space outposts, and you can trade for a new range of corvette modules: cockpits, habs and biomechanical hull pieces. The traders also sell a living Larva Cannon Multi-Tool in exchange for preserved grubs. Committed salvagers can earn the Larva Tank helmet and the player title Mind Harvester, per the FORSAKEN page.

New corvette parts

Beyond the spooky set, the update page lists several new cockpit styles:

  • Vantage-class: ultra-wide, with a minimalist interior
  • Hornet-class: insectoid segmented panels, three variants
  • Viper-class: underlit, leather-bound panels, three structural variants
  • Mantis-class: square-cornered panels and titanium bars, three varieties

There's also a Legion-class interior set with cruiser-style habitation modules.

Quality-of-life changes worth knowing

  • Seamless warping: stars from nearby systems now appear as targetable destinations in deep space, and you can fly straight to them without using the Galaxy Map.
  • Minimal HUD mode: trims the compass, hazard bars and mission notifications, and hides non-essential markers. Hello Games pitches it at experienced players.
  • Radial weapon selector: switch Multi-Tool modes from a wheel instead of cycling through them.
  • Space courier contracts: deep-space delivery missions from space outposts. The patch notes say you need a corvette and a gravitino coil.
  • Uploadable space bases: off-planet bases can now be uploaded so other players can visit them.
  • Deep-space creature battles: Holo-Arena fights at deep-space outposts.

No Man's Sky on iPhone and iPad

The Steam post says the iOS version includes "all 40+ updates so far, including FORSAKEN on day one." It also says the touch controls were custom-made and the app is a single 4GB download. The FORSAKEN page says the iOS engine was optimized for battery life and thermals. Hello Games opened iOS pre-orders earlier in October.

What's confirmed / not confirmed

Confirmed (official sources): - FORSAKEN is update 7.10 and released Oct. 28, 2026 (nomanssky.com, Steam, Xbox Wire) - Every feature listed above appears in the official FORSAKEN page and/or the 7.10 patch notes - iOS support, the free trial on iPhone 11+ and 3rd-gen iPad Air+, and the 4GB single download (Steam post) - FORSAKEN is the fifth major update of the year (Steam and Xbox Wire)

Not confirmed / not checked by us: - Full iOS pricing after the free trial (not stated in the posts we read) - Whether every platform got 7.10 at the same moment (the posts don't give per-platform times) - Player counts. Xbox Wire mentions a "huge uplift" in Xbox players after COSMOS, but gives no figures. - We haven't read every line of the 7.10 bug-fix notes, so check the official page for smaller fixes.
