Both US stores have it at $23.99 for launch, down from $29.99.

The game, if you missed it
Sword of the Sea is a short, atmospheric adventure built around movement. According to the official store description, you play the Wraith, "resurrected in the desolate Necropolis on a quest to unveil the ancient sea buried beneath the land." You get around on the Hoversword, which "moves like a snowboard, skateboard, and surfboard all in one". You use it to carve dunes and pull "flips, spins, and grab tricks" on "halfpipes, ramps, and wall rides."
As you go, sand turns back into water and sea life returns "in huge, breathtaking shoals." The store copy also warns "there is also darkness lurking under the waves."
The team is familiar: creative director Matt Nava handles the art and Austin Wintory wrote the music. The two have worked together on ABZÛ, The Pathless and Journey, per the store description.
Should you pick it up?
If you liked Journey or ABZÛ and don't own a PS5 or gaming PC, this is your first chance to play it. On Switch 2, the handheld mode is the big draw for a game built on flow and scenery. On Xbox, you get the Series X|S optimization and 4K/60. If you already own it on PS5 or PC, nothing in these releases changes the game for you. Neither store page mentions new content.
